About Storck Hungary.
Storck started operating in Hungary in the 90’s via distributors selling merci, Toffifee, Werther’s Original and Mamba brands. Steady growth led to the foundation of a separate subsidiary company. STORCK HUNGÁRIA KFT. owned by AUGUST STORCK KG in 100% was founded in 2000 with 25 employees. At the same time the product portfolio was extended with RIESEN, the dark chocolate chewy toffee, Campino, the fruit flavoured yoghurt candies and in 2005 with Knoppers, the milk and hazelnut filled wafer. Today, 26 employees are committed to securing the success of the Storck brands.
The domestic Storck subsidiary company is present in three main segments of the confectionary market. These segments are pralines, candies and wafers within countline segment. Storck Hungary has been the main player in the dinamically growing Hungarian praline market for years due to the success of merci and Toffifee. In the candy market the company is represented with the brands nimm2, Mamba, Werther’s Original, RIESEN and Campino winded itself into the sweeth-toothed people’ heart, while in the countline market Storck Hungary intends to achieve a stable market position with Knoppers.
From 2006, STORCK HUNGÁRIA KFT. became the regional supervising office for Romania, Bulgaria and Macedonia (the Balkans).
